Stitch Fix Review - April 2016

20160406182958_IMG_0458Stitch Fix has quickly become one of the best parts of my month. It is so exciting to come home and see that little brown box on my doorstep. I love the excitement of not knowing how everything will look, but most of all, I love that I can go to work or go out with my husband and feel confident in what I am wearing. As a mother who no longer weighs what I did in high school, confidence is a valuable commodity. Stitch Fix has given me that.

    Dear Mom

    Dear Mom,

It is 3 o'clock in the morning. I am sure you are asleep. I am curled up on the floor by my sick toddlers' bed, trying to comfort him to sleep when all he wants to do is cry. For the first time in my life, I wonder how many nights you lost sleep to comfort me. I want to call and say "Thank you" but how dare I wake you up again?

Stitch Fix takes the stress out of shopping. It is a box of 5 items picked by your own personal shopper who knows what fits and what you like. You try them on in the comfort of your own home. If you like them, you buy them. If you don't, you mail them back for no charge.

This time I decided to have a little bit of fun. In my note to my stylist (Hi Madeline!) I asked her to base this fix off of Mila Kunis's style. I pinned a few things for inspiration and I think she did a fantastic job! Here is what I was sent this month:

    Bombfell Review - February 2016

So my husband, Jeremy has begun to get a little jealous of all of the fun I am having with these clothing boxes. He decided to give it a try himself and found Bombfell . There is no styling fee, but they only mail you 3-5 items to try on. You get 10 days (now I'm jealous) and they only bill you for what you keep. It took some convincing, but I got him to do a little fashion show for us.

Stitch Fix Review - February 2016

    StitchFix

If you haven't heard of Stitch Fix yet, it's the solution to almost all of my fashion problems as a working mother. Before I discovered this service, I used to lament the fact that I could not afford a personal assistant to go shopping for me.

Between work and raising a toddler, who has time to shop anymore? And when I absolutely had to trek to a store, I usually ended up dragging myself home with nothing to show but toys for my son or something my husband has been wanting.

Stitch Fix takes the stress out of shopping. It is a box of 5 items picked by your own personal shopper who knows what fits and what you like. You try them on in the comfort of your own home. If you like them, you buy them. If you don't, you mail them back for no charge.
